How it works

Four steps, then a repeating cycle. No long intake process before anything useful happens.

1

Free 30-minute call

You tell me what is going on. I tell you honestly whether coaching is the right tool. If it isn't, I'll say so.

2

Getting oriented

A longer conversation about your child, your routines, and what you have already tried. I watch a routine if you're comfortable with that.

3

Pick a starting point

We choose one or two routines. Not ten. Narrow beats broad when you're already stretched.

4

Coach and adjust

You try it, I give feedback, we change what isn't working. Repeat until it runs without me.

A session

We start with the routines that are hardest.

Sessions run over secure video. How long we meet and how often are things you and I decide together as we get into the work — I would rather shape that around your family after intake than name it before I know you. Most of the time we look at a real routine instead of talking in the abstract. You show me, you try it, I give feedback while it's happening. Morning and bedtime, homework, and outings like a grocery run all count — and for older kids, being out in the community is often where the work matters most.

A father and son brushing their teeth together at the bathroom sink
A mother and daughter at the breakfast table
A parent sitting alongside a child working through homework at the table
A father on the floor with two children putting toys into a bin
A mother and her teenage daughter choosing items together in a grocery store aisle
  • You show me the routine, live or recorded
  • I point out what is already working before anything else
  • We change one thing, not five
  • You practice it while I'm there
  • You leave with something specific to do this week

How often we meet

Most families start weekly, then move to every other week once things are steadier. Some check in monthly for a while after that. We decide together, and you can stop whenever you want.

Getting started

The first step is a free 30-minute call. We talk about what is going on, whether coaching is the right tool, and what working together would look like, including scheduling and payment. No commitment on that call. If it is a fit, we pick a start date. If it isn't, I'll point you somewhere useful.

What I do not do

I do not diagnose. I do not provide direct one-to-one therapy for your child. I do not replace your child's existing team. If you need those things, I will tell you and help you figure out where to look.
